James Seikel

An Indiana native, James grew up in West Lafayette and went on to earn his Bachelor’s in History from Purdue University and a Master’s in Museum Studies from Indiana University, which led him to work in museum administration in Utah and Texas before he switched gears and earned his MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Illinois. He joined JA in 2024 to apply his specialized expertise to our business practices, streamlining everything from project forecasting to financial management, but appreciates the connection between his passion for museums and history and JA’s extensive work in designing public buildings. When he’s not shortcutting Excel formulas or taking accounting software for test drives, James enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog Cheddar and traveling internationally. Next destination: Japan!
